Pine Needle Basketry   Birds Bath Soap

These baskets are coiled with Ponderosa Pine needles, which vary in length from three inches to fifteen inches or more.  Baskets are normally stitched  with raffia, a grass grown originally in India, but can be stitched with other sewing fibers.  All stitching and forming is done by hand.  This gives each basket its own unique quality.
